Kashmere Ella Arsdal Kashmere’s eyes moved back and forth, looking at the hands of the clock. They seemed so intently focused on the damabul thing. She was so bored at the littlest things were capturing her attention. Tick tock tick tock tick tock. The sound was maddening and yet intriguing to her at the moment. Five more minuets until the time was up, until she could go away from this classroom that smelt of old paint and mold and she could be free, even if it was for just a few momments, it was still freedom.
Time drug on, and she find herself tapping her pencil, out of complete and utter boredom. She sighed and chewed on her bottom lip as the eraser bounced up and down on the desk. She looked down and watched the pink bounce up and down, then moved her hand faster and the eraser seemed to blur. For a few moments she was amused by this then, she got a evil eye from the teacher . With that she sat down her pencil and started to pick at her lip with her thumb and pointer finger just sighing waiting for time to pass by.
She heard one of the students clear there throats and it actually made her jump. She sighed at her stupidity and then looked forward at the words scribbled on the dry erase board and chewed on her bottom lip. The clock no longer held any interest to her and she was officially bored once more. The tick tock sound was just an annoyance… A very very strong annoyance. She sighed and then rested her head upon a fist. Her elbow into the hard wood of her desk. Finally salvation came when the alarm sounded off, signaling that class was over. She stood up and walked out the door smiling softly as she headed for her dorm… Maybe she could fit in another dreamless nap.
When she was trying disappearear in the hallway, was when her eyes fell on him. She turned and looked, but now she could only see the back of his head. She wanted to call name, that came to her mind. Fear caught the words on her tongue and held them.. What if she was wrong? What if wasn'tsnt Theo... She didn't want to insult the man. She paused, the risk would be worth the reward if it was him. She moved twords the man pushing past other students as she placed her hand on the suspects shoulder.
"Theo?"
She spoke softly, hoping that she was right, and his calming face would be the one that would turn around... Her heart skipped a beat as she waited, and seconds passed by like hours as she prepared herself, for what she was unsure... But she hoped it would be her Teddy.

theodore had just been assigned classes, and was returning towards his dorm from the counselours' office to 'settle in.' his shoulders braced, his stance relaxed, his mind wandered as he walked aimlessly down the hall. his worn, black converse made a quiet, and eery staccato on the floor. he was alone in the hall, or so he had been seconds prior. the bell rang, and doors burst open, as a sea of people pushed and gouged their way through, looking for their friends, or just simply trying to get to their next class to get through the day. this, would be his way of life for the next year. or so, he'd been thinking. he knew kashmere was in the system, and she was a ward of the state now. parentless, and pretty much alone. he'd been told she was here, but had not asked the counselour, nor anyone else. he didn't want them knowing why he was here, or that he was looking for her. since her arraignment, the days had seemed to be endless. time meant nothing. his grades were over acceptable, his life was supposed to be great, his parents were thrilled, and couldn't help but show it, everytime they looked out the window, and across the road at kashmere's empty house. theodore, however, was quite miserable. he missed his best friend. and what was worse, the day she'd been taken, was the day he had been going to tell him the sorted awful truth he'd been hiding for much too long. that he had been, and would be in love with her. even with her gone, and girls still throwing themselves at him, he was still so inthralled, and infatuated that he couldn't see anyone else. he didn't want, nor need anyone else. he counted days, like people counted sheep, or perhaps, like inmates in prison. it was how he felt, was it not accceptable to act as one felt? when he'd been taken away, his parents had been mortified, and even more so that he refused to go back to church. once in the system, he found things went quickly. every day, he knew he was closer. and it'd all come down to this moment. her voice was as familiar to him, as the cry of a kitten to its mother cat. he turned, his heart beating slowling, and out of his chest all at the same time. his eyes locked hers, and he couldn't think straight. he regained his conscious, and smiled. " yes kash?" he asked, as if everything were completely normal, and they'd not missed a day.

Kashmere Ella Arsdal Kashmere’s heart was in her throat as she waited. When he turned and looked at her, saying her name she smiled brightly and wrapped her arms around him hugging him tightly.
"Teddy!"
She was happy. She smiled and put her hands on his cheeks and smiled more kissing his four head with that bright smile still on her face as she ran her hands down his cheeks.
"God... I've missed you... So much.. It's been hell with out you... Why are you here though? You had so much going for you..."
Not that Kash was complaining. She missed him dearly.. But she also knew that Theo was a very bright person and he could go places in the world. Not to sound like Miss America but he could change things. Kash smiled at him once more, she couldn't get the smile off of her face... She couldn't believe he was here... So she grabbed his hand and yanked him away like she did when they were young and went into the lobby.
"How is everything? Anyone move into my old house? Your parents okay?"
Words flew out of her lips so fast, but she wanted to catch up with him. Everything seemed so surreal. She didn't let go of his hand as she sat down on the couch and pulled him down beside her. She wasn't letting him out of her sight. Teddy was hers now. The beautiful smile still hadn't left her rosey lips, god.. It was just like old times. The boy always had the ability to keep her smiling, even in the darkest of days. She held his hand as her blue eyes searched his, waiting for his response as she started her habit of chewing on her bottom lip again. She thought it was a nervous tick, but the physiologist said it some how contributed to the fact that she killed her step father and mother... Strange but, apparently if you chew on your lip your a murder. She thought the physiologist was more insane then she was...

theodore laughed slightly, and hugged her back. " you missed me, huh?" he asked, raising one eyebrow at her. he allowed her to drag him along with her, but his mind didn't move from that spot. he felt light, and heavy all the same time. he'd been waiting over a year to see her, to tell her, and here she was. he couldn't bring himself to say anything of that sort though. there were much farther important things to do, other than just tell her that. like make sure she'd been well, and that she wasn't going anywhere any time soon. " i missed you too, kashy." he said, as they stopped in the lobby, and pulled her towards him for another hug. he let go, when she began talking again. " slow down and breath, i'm not going anywhere." he wasn't lying, and he'd been waiting a long time to tell her that. he paused, and scratched the back of his head, trying to decide where to start. " well, i'm here because...i'm apparently a kleptomaniac?" he shrugged it off as if it were nothing at all. he smiled, and shoved his hands in his pockets, leaning away from her, but not meaning to. " i still have things going for me." he leaned in towards her, their faces inches apart, " i'm looking at it." he smiled, and looked down again. he coughed, and covered his mouth, before looking back at her. " no one's moved into your house," he began, shaking his head, " and my parent's are..." he smiled, shook his head, and tried to supress a laugh, " well, you know my parents." he trailed off, staring into her eyes. he had missed her even more than he'd thought. and he wasn't even sure if that was quite possible.

Kashmere Ella Arsdal Kashmere looked at him as he questioned the fact that she had missed him and she smiled at him, her eyes watering slightly as she slowly moved her hands up to his cheek and her thumb bushed down his cheek. It didn’t seem real to her. She felt so alone at this place, and finally someone was here. Someone that understood her, someone that knew, that actually knew she wasn’t insane. She bit her lip softly, and just held him to her as her arms slipped behind his neck and she actually sniffled as she took in a shaky breath fighting back the urge that watered her eyes and made her heart heavy. She breathed out softly and let go of him.
”Don’t ever question that I missed you… It’s hard to be without you… Kashmere’s words left her lips, they were not meant to be scolding, they were said softly and sweetly. She pressed her face to his neck and just took in his musky smell… Not musky as in nasty, but masculine. She missed it, remembering falling asleep with him, his arms safely around her… He made the dreams easier to bare, the nightmares… He would chase them away… Wake her up if she started to fight in her sleep…Just that musky smell of his visibly relaxed her… Her head leaned up and her blue eyes stared into his and she smiled softly, her beautiful lips curving up slightly as she looked into his soft baby blues.
As his voice spoke once again, her smile grew more and she leaned her head up slightly as he hugged her to him once more… She truly didn’t mind. She missed his arms around her. So reassuring and comforting. She felt at home with him. They could be anywhere, and it was home as long as she was with him. She once again found herself smiling and she giggled softly as he spoke about her slowing down her words, that he wasn’t going anywhere. She looked up at him and bit on her lower lip once more.
”Promise me.. If you leave, you will take me with you… I want you to promise that”…. She spoke softly and sat down beside him her hand ran down his arm to his hand, her fingers threaded themselves with his and her blue eyes searched his, a pleading look in them as she continued to chew on that bottom lip. She didn’t know what she would do if she had to let go of him once again, it.. It was nearly to much to bear. But she supposed she could be strong once again. But the fact that she could, didn’t mean that she wanted to. She didn’t. She was sick of acting strong, sick of putting on a mask. Sick of feeling so alone in this god forsaken place.
That’s when his words brought her out of her little trance like stake. He was a klepto? She blinked and her head tilted to the side. ”You a klepto? You never really did anything like that when I was around you…What happened to the good little boy?” She spoke looking at him with a tiny smile and ran her fingers over his hand and messed with fingers, comparing the sizes. His was so much bigger then hers. It for some reason made her feel even safer around him. That she was protected. It set her even more at ease. She looked back up at him as he took his hands away from hers and shoved them in his pockets, and she actually jumped thinking she had done something wrong. She started chewing on her bottom lip once more.
But, then he leaned into her, so close that she could feel his breath on her lips, His words cought her ears as he spoke… "I’m not conplaing about you being here Theodore… I… Missed you terribly…” Her hand went on his cheek as she bent into kiss him but he covered his mouth. Her hand dropped and she quickly adverted her gaze as if she did nothing at all. She didn’t know how he thought of her. Last time they were just like siblings. Like her and Ryan. The older Venten brother. She could never see herself with Ryan because he was like her brother, and she was starting to fear that Theo saw her just like a little sister.
When he sad that no one had moved in, and that his parents were the same she sighed. They had hated her so much, even gone to the links of forbidding him to even come around her, because she was some devil worshiping slut. She would admit that she was not a virgin but she was no where near a slut… She sighed as she finally looked back at him and but on her lip for a moment before looking into his deep eyes, God she could get lost in them so easily… "I’m sorry” She spoke softly, not knowing what else to say. She was at a lost for words and just wanted him… She wanted to cuddle up into him and sleep the day away.
