I knew that I was going to die. I knew it even before he grabbed the knife.
I was going to die. I didn't want to die. I was too young. Too young to
be counted amongst those whose souls had left the Earth. I know that
everyone dies eventually, but I wasn't ready. I had hardly begun to live.
My murderer was a man from my neighborhood; the neighborhood I lived
in when I was alive. But I wasn't the only one that he choose to be his
victim. I wasn't the first. I wasn't special. But I was chosen. I don't know
if there was a rhyme or reason to the way he killed. I just knew that he
did so. Young women. Old women. Children. He killed them just the
same. I didn't want to die. I wasn't given any decision in that matter.
The year is 1973 in the town of Norristown, Pennsylvania. This site
focuses on the victims as well as those who survived. It is the
story of families, friends, and perfect strangers who must learn
to come to terms with the brutal murders of those who used to
inhabit their world. It is also the victims who must come to terms
with their own deaths. While life continues on, a murderer is
still out there. Always looking for his next victim.
I was living in my own perfect world. A world where I could have
whatever I wanted. I was safe, and I could be happy.
Like I said, I didn't want to die. I wasn't given an option. You're
one of the lucky ones. You have a choice. Will you live, or will
you die? Whatever you choose, you can never go back.
