tatum isn't like most other teens. she witnessed the brutal murder of her mother when she was twelve years old and has never quite been the same, understandably so. just about everything scares her and she does her absolute best to not be noticed. she's quiet, nervous, and very confused. she's anorexic and to top it off she self harms as a way to release the pain she felt over her mother's murder. however, she is very gullible and easy manipulated just because she is so intimidated by everyone. she needs plots of every single kind you can think of. nothing is off limits.

laurel is a spunky girl from chicago, illinois. she loves having a good time and is up for just about anything. she's a pathetically loyal friend and a hopeless romantic, but you'd never know from the wall she builds around herself. she comes across a bit rough, confrontational, and sometimes threatening. but if you give her a chance it can be easily seen that she loves to laugh and has a softer side. she has some anger issues and sometimes gets mad to the point where she goes on blind rages - which stems from the life long physical and mental abuse sustained from her father. she has her promiscuous ways, but certainly doesn't have a reputation. she's open for any and all plots. let your imagination soar with this one.

HAIHAI. i have danny, danny de luca, who i think should be close/secretish friends with tatum. danny used to self harm, and maybe they could've met through the school counselor trying to get them to help eachother and whatnot. he's be pretty protective of her, and i think it'd be epic cute/fun. yesno? xD

i like the sound of that a lot. danny could be the one person who tatum isn't afraid of. she goes to him whenever she's having a moment - which is probably often. but because they're secretish friend she'd probably sneak into his room at night to talk to him. we can go a lot of different directions with this, so yes - i'm in!

ohhhh. i definitely think ryan and tatum need to have a plot. not exactly sure what yet. he's a (well current but not active) gang member, a smartass, completely and totally honest, and loves shy girls. he either gets a bit of a crush on them or feels compelled to be their older brother. either way he gets way over protective over them.
so doesn't matter to me, think of anything and it will probably be fun.

ohh i love that too. ryan looks exactly like the kind of guy tatum would be terrified of. so it'd be funny to see them interact. she would keep trying to avoid him until she finally realized he wasn't as bad as he looked. if he developed a crush on her she probably wouldn't even notice. it would take her awhile to pick up on that because she figures she's the type that guys don't like. so they could be a ton of fun.

these two are soo much alike. vienna's mom was murdered by her father after he found out that she had cheated on him during the time of vienna's pregnancy (vienna wasn't his biological daughter). so she was beaten and raped etc. until she left recently. she is extremely paranoid and introverted. she's scared her father is looking for her. she is quiet and scared of everyone, guys more than girls. i think they could be really close just because they have a lot in common and they would understand each other. i think they could be best friends or roomates or something? lemme know what you think.
