"there never was a town like marybourne bay before." this is the most commonly used sentence whenever anyone brings
up little place just down the road from port franco in the costal state of maine. and why is this i hear you asking? well i'll
tell you why. it's because the majority of the population of this little town are... different. mutants, heroes, catagory unknown
there are many names for the residents of marybourne, but no matter what they're called they're feared by the majority of people.
hence the reason marybourne bay has become their haven. somewhere they can be safe and just get on with the business of
living their lives. thing is even superhumans aren't free from the usual pressures of life. such as love and hate. sex and
lies. in a town where everyone is free to open about one thing they all seem to spend the rest of the time covering everything
else. everyone in marybourne bay is hiding something, whether they have a power or not. and there's always something to play for.
