I'D GIVE UP ALL THE WORLD TO SEE , THAT LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN, LOOKING BACK AT ME. I KNOW I'D DO IT ALL DIFFERENT IF I HAD THE CHANCE BUT ALL I'VE GOT ARE THESE-------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------ROSES TO GIVE "Lucy.."
her legs were curled up against her chest, her chin resting upon her arm, that laid across her knees. a lighter burning in one hand, her brown eyes staring into them. a distant look within then. that look could not be helped though. they said it would give her some closure to say her name. on what day though? emilee thought it would be best, to say her name on her birthday. wouldn't that help? it didn't. not for emilee. she still wanted to cry. she just wanted to sit there, listening to the ding of the elevator go up and down. hoping no one wished to use it at the moment. every now and then, the door would open, and emilee would reach up and push a button. to make it go either to the top, or the bottom floor. just for the longest time for the door to be shut. why'd it have to be today? of all days? of course, if it were any other day it would still be the same way to the blond. but this one was a sore subject for her, it really was. at the very moment in time, she was skipping class, and hiding out in the elevator. it was a prefect place to be, no one ever used them. actually, most people didn't even notice them. and even if someone did walk in, it would take a moment to even notice her sitting there. emilee was so small. and considering she was curled up at the moment? she sat right under the buttons by the left of the door. so she wouldn't be hard to miss, not at all.
"happy birthday, lucy." the distant look, seemed to grow even more. "how old are you now? five? i think that's about it..yes.. it's five.
there was no one there, if anything the blond looked like she was mumbling to her self. which, was actually what she was doing. her state of mind, was gone at the time. right at the moment, she was talking to lucy. it didn't matter if her little sister was there or not. while her brown eyes stared into the fire she kept lighting, she could swear she saw the bright green eyes, looking right back at her. oh, how she missed her dear little sister. she'd been her world. emilee hadn't cared for her parents, she had down right hated them. maybe more then they hated her. her grandparents had loved her like she was the daughter they wished they could of had, then that car crash had to take them away. leaving her to be the only one alive. then came lucy. little lucy nightmare. she was the sweetest thing every, blond hair, stunning green eyes. that child had been the meant to be, they had planned on her. and they loved her so much. much more than emilee. the funny thing about it? lucy had been the one thing she had cared for, she stopped drugs, stopped drinking, just to spend time with the baby. any time that she could, was perfect. but lucy had only been two when it happened. only two. this was what caused emilee to say, she was nothing more than a walking nightmare. if you got too close to her, and she started to really care, you were dead. death stood by her side, and wanted to take what she cared for. that was how emilee saw it.
it was her fault. her parents had said it. the worst of it all, the sophomore even believed it was her fault all together. she started to care for her sister. that's what caused it. brown eyes moved from the flames for a second. and again she swore, she saw lucy. a small smile came over her pale pink lips. but it was soon gone. when she realised, it was all in her head. she shook it, sending golden locks every where, she wasn't there. her sister would be five now, it'd been three years. and it still stung emilee's heart, like never before. her eyes had traveled right back to the fire, and she kept lighting it. her fingers running over it, the tips being burned. it was the only warmness she had over her body right now. if someone were to touch her, they'd feel nothing but the coldness, her skin was always cold. and this burning at her fingertips? it made them feel so much better, she felt a bit of heat. and it worked out nicely. a ding was made, but the sophomore didn't notice it as the door opened up. neither did she notice the simple fact, that someone was stepping inside the elevator, and pushing a button. she seemed oblivious to it all.

Post by OCTOBER ARIEL VELCHETTI on Jan 19, 2010 11:10:30 GMT -5
She wants to touch me. She wants to love meShe’ll never leave me “I guess it’s time to meet the new student body I have to interact with.”
October got herself dressed and ready to head out to school. She hadn’t any intention of going to class, but she at least would be in the building, checking out all the kids that went there, and pointing out all of their problems. She might make friends, but that’s never what she wanted. She’d just push people away as if it was a game. The last time someone got close to her, they died, and just because she didn’t feel guilty didn’t mean it wasn’t her fault. It was also so long ago that October could barely remember what her parents looked like. October gave a heavy sigh as she looked at the outside of the building. She really would rather not have been there, but she never really had a choice. She walked up the steps and into the front doors. A hallway, a long one at that, was to her left, door after door after door, and probably one of the doors she should’ve gone into to attend class. ”Pfft. Class. What the hell for?”
October lit a cigarette in the building, which she was pretty sure wasn’t allowed, but she didn’t care. She took a few puffs as she walked down the hall, passing door after door. She took a look inside a few and noticed all the pathetic students sitting as if their life was being drained from them. A few looked like yuppies and a few looked like they belonged in jail. None the less she knew they were all fuck ups, and October refused to be sitting there with all the rest, just to prove she was ‘fixable’, whatever that meant. She continued until she got to the staircase, went the few steps up and walked down the next hallway of doors. It was like déjà vu, and October soon got bored of it. She just strolled along aimlessly until she got to the end of this one. She looked at the elevator, and noticed it was constantly going up and down. She didn’t care to wait for it and walked up the next flight. She got to the third floor, and walked down the subsequent hallway. She peeked into one class and noticed everyone passed out as the teacher just continued to drag on. Well, obviously they don’t care anymore than the kids do. She gave a chuckle and apparently the teacher heard her. He looked at the door, and October waved with a conniving smile. He gestured that she’d put out the cigarette and she gave him the finger. He just waved her away after that, and as she turned she could’ve sworn he gave her the finger back, but what did she care? She just walked away and continued smoking, oblivious to the ‘No Smoking’ sign which hung directly above her.
As she made her way down the hall, she realized there were more stairs which she was getting sick of. She turned back and headed towards the elevator, but not before stopping again at the classroom and planting her face against the glass. The professor was not amused and tried to ignore her, but she just stuck her tongue in her cheek, and pushed back and forth, signaling a blow job. He gave a disgusted look, scrambled for paper and tape and covered the door window, permanently blocking October out. October laughed, opened the door and said rather loudly, “Thanks for a great night! Oh by the way, you should have yourself checked. Condoms exist for a reason dirt bag. See you later, babe. Smooches!” Some students that had woken up started snickering and laughing. October smiled a fake smile, and stared down the teacher who stood shocked and speechless. She walked back out laughing. ”Mortification accomplished.” She said to herself as she continued on to the elevator.
She got to the elevator door and pressed the down button. The elevator was already on the first floor apparently, but she waited. No point in walking unless she had to, and that’s what elevators were made for. She leaned against the wall watching the empty hall. It was a ghost town during school hours, which she didn’t mind at all. The elevator ‘ping’ caught her off guard as she was lost in thought. The doors opened, and she stepped in nonchalantly. As she pressed a button she noticed someone on the floor. She looked at her as the doors closed and the elevator started moving. Without words, she glanced back and forth, between the girl and the lighter in her hands. ”Sup? You lost?” October said, without feeling. Ignoring the girl would have been too passive, and October was not passive. Plus, her therapists say talking is good, so who else to talk to then a girl sitting in an elevator playing with a lighter?
